I have news for you. The 1% of the "wealthiest Americans" write the laws, too. We've, or THEY HAVE, steered dramatically away from the US Constitution over the past 80 years, ever so incrementally. The entire system is designed to erase the middle class. What the elite desire is a two class structure. with them at the very top, and the remaining working/welfare class. The welfare class to be funded almost entirely by taxing the working class, each having roughly the same standard of living.

I completely agree. This country ain't turning out so good. I have no intention of staying in the country after my education is done. No it has nothing to do with the quality of schools. Its just the wrong time to move for me. But unless they clean up their act, this nation is going to scare away the innovators that made it. If we can't talk people into Darwinism, I give up.
