Maby they inported it for doing demos!? I dont know but you hear the Diesel sound when it drives away! I hade both, a diesel and a gasoline engine. I kick the Diesel out because it was to slow.

Love to hear the 'real world' proof of this little car's safety. Sorry you crashed yours but happy to learn it was with no injuries on your part, other than loosing your car.

Wonsdloc, you 'road test' the cars? For whom? maybe you or your company has a full road test report available to review. You'd need to define roomy because the Smart has more 'trunk' space than a Mini Cooper. It seats 2, have you ever sat in the back seat of a Mini? Good luck. check the crash test results from the IIHS and NTSHA, they've given great crash test results. So I am glad it is just your opinion.

hi roadstersmart, maybe just maybe Smart will reintroduce the Roadster once they've caught up to the US buyers demand. I am on the waiting list for my Fortwo ... August 2008. Visit my channel some time. Fun stuff there.

I hope you've seen the results of the tests done by the IIHS and NHTSA, the seem to strongly approve of the crashworthiness of the Smart Fortwo sold in the US. Very exciting news. |
